Job Title: Sr CAD Technician - Curtain Wall
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Pay Rate: $70K - $95K (Depending on Background)

Our industry-leading client is hiring a
Sr CAD Technician - Curtain Wall, for a permanent, full-time opportunity in Elk Grove Village, IL.
Requirements:
- AutoCAD proficient
- Ability to read architectural and structural plans
- Revit and Inventor familiarity a plus
- Basic skills in Word and Excel
- Familiarity with standard drafting practices
- 2+ years of experience in the production of construction documents
- Previous experience in the architectural aluminum industry is a plus.
- Team player with excellent communication and follow through skills
- Candidate expected to reside in the Chicago Metropolitan area
Job Description:
- Produce shop drawings including floor plans, elevations, and details
- Interpret & coordinate structural calculations with shop drawings
- Produce fabrication drawings
- Create and maintain BIM Models
- Create and maintain product literature
- Other duties may be assigned
