As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and driven Sr. Chemical Process Engineer to join our team in Crane, IN. What You Will Do:Responsible for the day-to-day operation of energetic chemical manufacturing processesWork directly with operators to ensure that energetic materials are made safely and according to key process and product characteristicsMonitors systems in the chemical manufacturing process for compliance with environmental regulationsProvides onsite direct technical support to operators regarding the key characteristics,Work closely with operators to seek comments on the efficiency of operations for process unit operationTroubleshoots processes in a production facility to keep a process running efficientlyConducts safety analyses of new and existing equipmentAssists in equipment testing, operator training, and plant start-up, shutdown, and maintenance activitiesAssists as unit operations subject matter expert during emergency and abnormal operationsAssists with design work for capital improvement projects.Assist in generating P&ID schematicsOptimize workflows by creating procedures and process flow documentationMaintain safety and environmental standardsDevelop methods to minimize by-products and waste materials in environmentally responsible mannerIdentify opportunities for process improvements: throughput, safety, waste streams, etc.Assist in the establishment of timelines and budgetsIdentify and coordinate contractors/vendors to design machinery and other equipment to optimize work processes Must Have:5+ years directly related industry experienceDemonstrated experience collaborating with Data/Automation/Controls engineers Experience working in multidisciplinary teams of ~5 engineersExperience with process simulation software and data analysis tools Bachelors degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or equivalentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearanceMust be a US Persons as defined by § 120.62 of the ITAR X-Bow is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
