Sr Composite Mold / Form / Pattern Technician

The Senior Composite Mold Technician (also known as a Casting Mold, Form or Pattern Technician) is a highly skilled craftsman and leader responsible for building, refining, and maintaining composite molds that support safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role sets the example for craftsmanship, ownership, and teamwork while living out Tower Industries’ core values every day.

Responsibilities Includes:

• Perform repairs to molds including chip outs, cracks, drains.
• Spray gelcoat surfaces and texture custom bases
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on molds, including cleaning, polishing, resurfacing, and material application.
• Troubleshoot mold defects and surface issues, diagnose root causes
• Inspect molds for wear or damage, ensure compliance with quality standards, and replace molds when necessary.
• Prepare molds for production and support prototype builds and new product development efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams while maintaining accurate documentation of all mold work, inspections, and performance data.
