Duration: 12 monthsEmployment Type: ContractJob Responsibilities: This individual will coordinate and oversee equipment installation activities, working closely with engineering, construction contractors, equipment vendors, and site operations teams to ensure installations meet engineering specifications, project schedules, and GMP requirements. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment placement, mechanical installation, and utility connections; coordinating installation activities; participating in equipment walkdowns and inspections; documenting and tracking punch-list items; and helping resolve installation issues. The engineer will also ensure compliance with site safety standards, Good Engineering Practices (GEP), and applicable quality requirements while providing regular project updates.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Project Engineer, Equipment Installation Engineer, or Facilities/Mechanical Engineer with experience supporting equipment installations in a pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing facility.
They should be comfortable being onsite, coordinating contractors and vendors, overseeing installation progress, identifying issues, and working across Engineering, Facilities, Automation, and Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) teams.

Required Qualifications: Experience supporting process equipment installation in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of process equipment, mechanical installations, facility systems, and utility connections.
Ability to review engineering drawings, equipment layouts, specifications, and installation documentation.
Experience coordinating equipment vendors, construction contractors, millwrights, and engineering teams.
Familiarity with equipment inspections, installation walkdowns, and punch-list management.
Understanding of GMP, Good Engineering Practices (GEP), and site safety requirements.
Strong project coordination, communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
Ability to work onsite and support occasional extended hours or weekends.
Pay Scale:
Anticipated hourly pay range: specific range such as ($55/Hr to $60/Hr).
