At Fusion Recruiters, we partner with incredible organizations that are doing meaningful work and this opportunity is no exception. Were excited to support our client, a leading global dairy co-operative with well-known consumer brands, in their search for a Sr. Contract Recruiter in Hilbert, Wisconsin (hybrid), the Whitehall / Eau Claire, WI area is also considered, and remote may be considered for Wisconsin-based candidates who can travel onsite as needed.
As the Sr. Contract Recruiter, youll play a key role in getting professional-level hiring moving across our clients North American businesses, with a primary focus on its Wisconsin-based ingredients business. Youll report to the Director of Global Talent Acquisition and work closely with hiring managers, business leaders, and a six-person global Talent Acquisition team. This is an opportunity to take meaningful ownership of a portfolio of in-flight searches as a hands-on recruiter not a program or contract manager running each search end to end, from sourcing through offer.
What Youll Do:
- Take ownership of a portfolio of roughly 10 to 15 in-flight professional-level requisitions, with a primary focus on the Wisconsin-based ingredients business and support for the consumer foods business in Evanston, IL as needed.
- Recruit for corporate and professional roles in supply chain, procurement, and customer service, plus senior operations searches, from individual contributor through manager and senior manager level (operator and hourly hiring are out of scope).
- Lead the more senior searches on the recruiting team.
- Own the full recruiting cycle: write engaging job adverts with hiring managers, source directly, screen, coordinate interviews, and manage offers.
- Build candidate pipelines through LinkedIn, Indeed, networking, referrals, and direct outreach, while managing a healthy flow of inbound applicants.
- Create interview plans, competency-based questions, and interview scripts for each search.
- Partner with hiring managers to define needs, set realistic expectations, and keep searches and decisions moving.
- Identify what is delaying a search and act on it: push back when requirements, feedback, or evaluations are not aligned, and help managers assess candidates against the role requirements rather than against one another.
- Reassess the profile with the hiring manager when candidates no longer match the original brief, and encourage a decision or a regroup when a search stalls.
- Deliver a high-quality candidate experience with timely, clear communication at every stage.
- Keep requisitions and candidate records current in the ATS (SuccessFactors) and share pipeline status and key metrics with the TA team and stakeholders.
- Spend time onsite in Hilbert, Whitehall, and Evanston to build relationships with hiring teams and support recruiting events and campaigns.
What Youll Bring:
- Substantial full-cycle recruiting experience at the senior recruiter level, ideally in a corporate or in-house setting.
- A track record of filling professional and management-level roles in functions such as supply chain, procurement, customer service, operations, or marketing.
- Strong self-sourcing and direct search skills, including LinkedIn Recruiter, and comfort building pipelines from scratch.
- Confident stakeholder management, including with challenging hiring managers; you can influence without authority, push back with tact, and drive accountability without assigning blame.
- Experience designing and conducting competency-based interviews and structured selection processes.
- The ability to take ownership quickly with limited ramp-up and manage 10 to 15 open roles in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Hands-on experience with an applicant tracking system; SAP SuccessFactors experience is a plus.
- A tactful, humble, solutions-focused style: you listen and understand why a process exists before recommending changes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work onsite in Hilbert, WI (or the Whitehall area) and travel between locations, with a valid driver's license.
- Background in a fast-moving or high-volume environment such as FMCG/CPG, food and beverage, dairy, pharmacy, or manufacturing is a plus; pace and adaptability matter more than industry.
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.
