Sr. CT Technologist [Full Time Role]

The Senior CT Technologist is a CRT/ARRT Technologist who maintains an ARRT sponsored CT Certification. This individual must also be certified and demonstrate competency in performing injection procedures necessary for CT. This Technologist must demonstrate the ability to perform CT exams in both the inpatient and outpatient environment, be able to work safely in an acute care setting and be able to interact accordingly with anesthesia and other patient care departments that visit the CT environment. Additionally, the Senior CT Technologist must participate with the training of students and new hires when necessary.  The position must have flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for nights, weekends and holidays.  Must be willing to take call as well.  Required:  Three (3) years minimum experience in practicing modality in acute care setting.  Graduate of a JCERT accredited radiology technology training program.  Have flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.  Must be willing to assist at any of the UCSF Medical Center Locations  ARRT Licensure  ARRT (CT) Certification  Venipuncture Certification  BLS Certification  Teaching: Lead/Coordinator, participation and demonstrates ability to effectively teach BASIC and ADVANCED procedures.  Mentoring – Actively participates in mentoring new employees and students (excludes Per Diem).

Ideal Candidate Looking for someone with 5 or more years CT exp 

who has worked in similar environment,  hospital system working inpatient and outpatient, schedule is 10 or 12 hours with rotating shifts and weekend coverage. Willing to take call.   Moving assistance is offered.
