Our client in the Seattle area is looking for a Sr. Data Analyst to complete the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Salesforce Analytics Support: Support, maintain, and enhance existing Salesforce native reporting, dashboards, and embedded analytics to meet ongoing operational needs for Sales and Marketing leadership.
Legacy Migration to Fabric: Lead the migration of legacy sales, marketing, and financial data sources and reports into Microsoft Fabric. Re-architect legacy reports into modern, scalable Power BI solutions with an emphasis on consolidating redundant reporting and enabling self-service access for business stakeholders.
Silver/Gold Data Modeling: Own Silver and Gold layer delivery within Microsoft Fabric, partnering with Data Engineering who owns Bronze ingestion. Design and build conformed data models for Salesforce objects (Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Campaigns) and financial system data (GL, project cost, and revenue actuals), applying analytics engineering best practices (e.g., modular SQL, transformation frameworks) to produce trusted, unified data assets that serve Sales, Marketing, and Finance consumers.
Power BI Dashboard Development: Design, build, and optimize high-impact Power BI dashboards focused on sales pipeline velocity, marketing attribution, conversion metrics, revenue forecasting, and financial performance. Build toward certified, consolidated semantic models that support self-service analytics and are structured to serve agentic AI consumption patterns.
Business Partnership & Requirements Gathering: Serve as the main BI contact for Sales Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams, translating complex business needs into actionable analytical roadmaps and technical deliverables.
Data Quality & Governance: Validate source-to-target data accuracy between Salesforce and Fabric. Enforce workspace architecture, naming conventions, and access control standards.

SUCCESS FACTORS
Timely, seamless migration of legacy sales/marketing data and reports into Fabric without business disruption.
High data accuracy and alignment between Salesforce source systems and Fabric/Power BI reports.
Improved visibility into sales pipelines, marketing attribution, and revenue drivers for stakeholders.
Strong cross-functional relationships with Sales Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or analytics engineering roles supporting Sales, Marketing, and/or Finance functions.
Salesforce Expertise: Deep experience working with Salesforce data structures, objects (Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Campaigns), and native reporting/dashboards.
Financial Systems Experience: Demonstrated experience working with Finance teams and financial systems (e.g., ERP, GL, project cost, or revenue reporting platforms). Ability to translate financial data structures and reporting requirements into governed, trusted data models.
Microsoft Fabric & Analytics Engineering: Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse architecture, Silver/Gold layer transformation, and semantic models). This role is not a pure analytics engineer but is expected to actively contribute to Silver and Gold layer modeling rather than solely defining requirements for others to build.
Advanced Power BI: Mastery of Power BI development, complex DAX, and creating executive-ready dashboards.
Legacy Report Migration: Proven track record of migrating legacy reporting solutions/data sources to modern lakehouse/cloud architectures.
Strong SQL/T-SQL skills for writing complex queries, testing, and data validation.
Self-Service & AI Readiness: Forward-thinking orientation toward report consolidation and simplification, building semantic models and data assets that are structured for self-service consumption by business users and ready to serve agentic AI workflows as the enterprise matures its AI capabilities.
