Sr. DC Design Manager for Region, DCDE - AMER

As a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer III, you will serve as a technical leader responsible for the design, architecture, and continuous improvement of data center infrastructure systems. Key job responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of data center infrastructure systems, taking ownership of system-wide guidance and ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable across global facilities.
• Drive resolution of complex technical problems by identifying root causes, evaluating trade-offs and constraints, and implementing solutions that balance short-term operational needs with long-term business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partner teams and stakeholders to align on infrastructure strategy, lead project and design reviews, and communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop and implement new mechanisms that simplify infrastructure systems, improve reliability, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Coach and mentor engineers within your organization, contributing to their professional development and strengthening the team"s overall technical capability.

A day in the life

You might start your morning reviewing design proposals for a new infrastructure deployment, providing feedback that shapes the direction of a multi-region project. Later, you collaborate with partner engineering teams to resolve an architectural challenge, weighing technical trade-offs and building alignment on the path forward. In the afternoon, you mentor a fellow engineer through a complex design problem, then wrap up by analyzing emerging data center technologies to inform your team"s long-term strategy.
