We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a contract position based in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. This is a 6+ month engagement focused on building and optimizing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and deploy CI/CD pipelines
- Strive for continuous improvement and develop continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline practices
- Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
- Optimize and automate release and development cycles and processes
- Promote and advance DevOps culture across teams
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to development practices
- Write and maintain technical documentation
Qualifications
- Required
- 4+ years of hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud-based infrastructure and services
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with CI/CD (YAML) pipelines for Azure DevOps
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes environments, including Helm Charts and Config Maps
- 4+ years of experience with scripting in languages such as PowerShell and Bash
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with containerization technologies including Azure Kubernetes Service and Docker
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code
- 4+ years of high proficiency with both Windows-based and Linux-based systems
- Ability to write and update technical documentation
- Logical, process-oriented approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting
