Location: Onsite – 700 West Ball Rd, Anaheim, CA 92802
Contract: W2 only, 12-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI
Pay: $X/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match

Overview

Would you like the opportunity to support the design and delivery of complex electrical systems across one of the most iconic resort environments in the world? As a Senior Electrical Designer, you will partner closely with Senior Electrical Engineers, Project Managers, and Design Managers to develop high-quality conceptual, design development, and construction documentation supporting capital and sustainment projects across the Disneyland Resort and ancillary properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical design and construction documents, including plans, one-lines, schematics, details, schedules, and diagrams
  • Support concept, design development, and construction phases with accurate, coordinated CAD/Revit deliverables
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Electrical Engineers to interpret engineering direction, standards, and code requirements
  • Apply and enforce DMGS, master specifications, and internal design standards
  • Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, mechanical, structural, and civil disciplines
  • Incorporate engineer markups and redlines efficiently while maintaining drawing quality and consistency
  • Assist with RFP and contractor design packages by producing clear and complete electrical drawings

Required Skills

  • Five (5) or more years of experience producing electrical design and construction drawings in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
  • Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and strong working knowledge of Revit
  • Solid understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems
  • Working knowledge of California Electrical Code, Title 24 energy requirements, and applicable industry standards
  • Experience coordinating designs across multiple disciplines and project stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting schedule and quality expectations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting large campus, resort, or entertainment environments
  • Familiarity with Owner’s Representative or internal facilities engineering organizations
  • Experience working from established design guidelines, master specifications, and standards
  • Construction-phase support experience, including RFIs, submittals, and field coordination
  • Exposure to lighting design tools and calculations
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior designers
