Key Project Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience with significant EPC project experience.
• Strong electrical design experience within a construction/EPC environment.
• Experience with industrial power systems, including HV, MV, and LV power distribution.

Job Summary:

The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead electrical engineering and design activities for EPC projects from concept through construction, commissioning, and handover. This position will provide technical leadership for electrical system design, ensure compliance with applicable codes and client specifications, coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and support procurement and construction activities throughout project execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and review of electrical engineering and design deliverables for EPC projects.
• Design and review HV, MV, and LV power distribution systems, including single-line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, equipment specifications, grounding, lightning protection, and protection coordination.
• Perform and review electrical system studies, including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, motor starting, harmonic, and protection coordination studies.
• Prepare and review technical requisitions, vendor drawings, calculations, bid evaluations, and documentation for major electrical equipment.
• Coordinate electrical engineering activities with mechanical, instrumentation, process, civil, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Provide engineering support during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning and resolve field-related technical issues.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable NEC, NFPA, IEEE, IEC, NEMA, client, and project requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Demonstrated electrical design experience in an EPC, engineering consulting, or construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, MCCs, VFDs, UPS systems, generators, and protection relays.
• Experience with ETAP, SKM PowerTools, EasyPower, or equivalent electrical system analysis software.
• Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, SmartPlant, E3D, or similar engineering/design tools.

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering experience, including significant EPC project experience.
• Experience supporting industrial, power generation, transmission/distribution, data center, oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, renewable energy, or similar large-scale projects preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent professional certification preferred.
