Sr. Engineer

Title: Scrum Lead
Location: Fort Worth, TX - 76155 (100% onsite)
Duration: 12+ months contract

Job Overview:
We are looking for a practical Scrum Lead with technical experience. They will be responsible for managing project priorities across an IT Product of ~ 30 applications (many of which are vital to the operation); prioritizing, assigning and managing developer work (in close cooperation with Leadership and Technical Leads); building out work process automation leveraging approved AI tools (e.g. User Story creation automation); working with other Product owners across Regional IT; leadership progress updates. They will also lead strategic initiatives such as migrating from ADO to GitHub for all our repos.

What is the team environment and structure like?:
Sr. Manager + Manager 2 Technical Leads 3 Architects 20 Developers (Software, Data) Most of our team is at Skyview 8, but we also have team members spread out over the US, and a Squad in Hyderabad.
We support Custom Development (mostly backend integrations) and Data needs for the Regional operation within ***, which consists of 5 regional airlines flying a combined ~ 3,000 flights per day. We have no dedicated Product Owner or Scrum Lead. Scrum duties are currently taken on by developers.

How will the resource(s) fit into your team?:
They will take over the Scrum responsibilities currently fulfilled by our developers. They will sit at Skyview 8 and work closely with the Manager/Sr. Manager, the Technical Leads, the Developers, and the Architects, as well as Product Managers from other Regional teams.
