Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Engineering Technician. This role is crucial in supporting the testing and troubleshooting of advanced electronics assemblies for space and defense applications. The position involves dynamic, thermal, and functional testing, and requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications

• Associates, technical degree, or equivalent military training/experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to government regulations.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an electronics discipline.
• Experience with General Purpose Test Equipment (i.e., Oscilloscope, function generator, power supplies, DMM, logic analyzer, etc.).
• Ability to read schematics, follow procedures, and apply computer skills and technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
• Flexibility and willingness to work different shifts, including overtime and weekends, as business needs require.
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

• Prior Military (USAF, USN) service.
• Experience with Guidance and Navigation Electronics systems.
• Environmental test experience.

• Perform hands-on diverse technical tasks related to the testing of advanced electronics assemblies.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and fault isolation of assemblies by performing well-defined development tests, system integration, and formal acceptance tests, including environmental testing.
• Set-up, program, and operate special test equipment to perform Acceptance Test Procedures.
• Maintain detailed test logs, follow detailed test procedures without error, and provide daily pass-along shift information both verbally and in written documentation.
• Execute cleanliness/standardization, safety, equipment/lab maintenance, and Operating System tasks daily.
• Interact with both test technicians and engineers, emphasizing communication and teamwork skills.
