JOB TITLE: Sr Engineering Technician
LOCATION:Torrance, CA
PAY RATE: $38-40/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

• Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Studies and records time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency.

• Establishes a standard production rate for maintenance, production, clerical, and other worker operations.

• Performs a variety of complicated tasks.

• May direct and lead the work of others.

• Applies experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Relies on knowledge of field concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Supports pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure testing.

• Supports hydraulic testing and valve testing.

• Supports turbomachinery testing.

• Supports vapor cycle refrigeration systems and compressor testing in a lab environment.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• High school degree or equivalent.

• 4–6 years of experience in the field.

• Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Prior experience with pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure testing.

• Prior experience with hydraulic testing.

• Prior experience with valve testing.

• Prior experience with turbomachinery.

• Prior experience with vapor cycle refrigeration systems and compressor testing in a lab environment.

• EPA refrigerant license preferred.
