Tuesday - Saturday SHIFT

1st Shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm , OT possible.

Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced engineering technician to join our team for a 6-month contract. This role involves high volume, repetitive testing of commercial and military precision hydraulic/pneumatic high-pressure systems in fluid power. The successful candidate will work from Tuesday to Saturday during the 1st shift, from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, with possible overtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 35lbs.
• Previous testing and troubleshooting experience.
• Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
• Consistently takes initiative to get things done.
• Ability to make timely decisions even in complex situations.
• Studies and records time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency.
• Requires a high school degree or equivalent with 4-6 years of experience in the field.
• Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Prior work experience in the client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in directing and leading the work of others.
• Experience with systematic analysis and decisiveness.
• Experience reporting to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct high volume repetitive testing of hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in testing processes.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve testing goals.
