Sr. Enterprise Architect

Job Title: Enterprise Architect – Manufacturing & Operations (IT-OT)

Location: Centennial, CO hybrid

Pay Rate: $75-88/hr

Employment Type: contract to hire

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking an Enterprise Architect for a leading North American wood products manufacturer which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing operations architecture, ERP, and IT-OT convergence looking to further their career in enterprise architecture.

•      Develop architecture strategies, standards, patterns, and 5-year technology and investment roadmaps aligned to business growth

•      Partner with senior leadership, solution architects, IT security, and OT engineers to prioritize and deliver architecture initiatives

•      Support IT-OT convergence across process control, engineering, and IT

•      Evaluate the technology portfolio and recommend upgrades, automation, consolidation, and process optimization

•      Lead project architecture reviews and advise delivery teams on integration and alternatives analysis

•      Communicate options, trade-offs, dependencies, and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders

•      Assess emerging technologies (AI/ML, cloud) for business value and compliance

Essential Qualifications

•      10+ years of IT experience in ERP (SAP), supply chain, manufacturing operations management, logistics, and analytics

•      Prior experience as a solution, enterprise, or data architect across applications, data, integration, and automation

•      Working knowledge of operational technology and manufacturing systems

•      Experience with integration platforms such as Boomi and API management

•      Experience with infrastructure and cloud architecture

•      Familiarity with TOGAF or Zachman enterprise architecture frameworks

•      Strong influencing, storytelling, and stakeholder communication skills

•      Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience

Bonus Qualifications

•      OT experience (PLCs, HMIs, IoT, historians, MES, SCADA); Purdue model, ISA-95, ISA/IEC 62443

•      AWS or Azure Solutions Architect certification; AI/ML experience

•      Snowflake and SAP S/4HANA experience

•      Wood products manufacturing experience; SCOR and S&OP familiarity
