We''re seeking a Senior Environmental Graphics Designer to lead the planning, design, and implementation of our enterprise-wide signage and wayfinding program across new construction, renovations, and campus expansion projects.

What You''ll Do
As the Senior Environmental Graphics Designer, you''ll serve as the subject matter expert for environmental graphics, leading projects from concept through installation while partnering with architects, facilities teams, marketing, clinical leadership, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead signage and wayfinding programs for complex capital projects, renovations, and campus expansions.
- Lead Art programs for complex capital projects, renovations, and campus expansions.
- Develop budget information during project planning by working with the project management team
- Develop Art Location Plans
- Develop and adhere to an art implementation schedule in accordance with overall construction project schedule
- Propose theme, sizing and material solutions based on project needs
- Work with end-user group to approve placement and design solutions
- Provide creative direction to artists and other creative resources by developing sketches, presentation materials and gathering other information as needed
- Review proposals by artists and make suggestions as needed
- Use job-required software and mediums to develop and design solutions according to defined requests
- Oversee workflow between vendor resources to maintain productivity
- Provide guidance on materials and fabrication methods to ensure durability, quality and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with interior design and architecture teams to develop, design, and implement artwork that is cohesive to the project needs
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external creative resources
- Schedule installation services in accordance with project demands
- Coordinate with clinical staff and vendors to avoid interference with patient care workflow in occupied spaces
- Coordinate with project manager to introduce art application when a construction space is ready
- Incorporate artwork in collaboration with wayfinding applications throughout the facilities
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Graphic Design, Environmental Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related design discipline.
- Three or more years of experience in environmental graphics, signage, graphic communications, facilities planning, architecture, or related project-based design work.
- Experience leading multiple design projects simultaneously from concept through installation.
- Strong understanding of architectural plans, shop drawings, scales, and construction documentation.
- Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to independently drive projects to completion.
- Technical Skills
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with production methods, print technologies, and fabrication processes
- Ability to develop construction documents, shop drawings, and production-ready artwork
- Understanding of ADA, wayfinding, and environmental graphics best practices is highly preferred.
