How you will make an impact:

Cell Culture and Cell Therapy (CC&CT) is a $1B+ business within the BioProduction Group, supporting biopharma customers in the development and manufacturing of innovative biologics and cell therapies.

We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to own and support key FP&A processes across the business, including forecasting, financial planning, and business reporting. In this role, you will contribute to financial planning and consolidation activities while driving process improvements that enhance forecasting, reporting, and business decision-making.

What you will do:

  • Lead the consolidation of the full P&L across monthly close, forecasts, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Strategic Operating Plan (STRAP), and business reviews for CC&CT; develop variance analysis and key business assumptions
  • Own the bi-weekly revenue forecast process, partnering with the vertical finance leads to improve financial accuracy and drive accountability
  • Support the financial planning process for AOP and STRAP by maintaining planning templates, coordinating internal review meetings, and preparing presentation materials
  • Identify and implement process improvements that simplify planning, reporting, and forecasting activities while increasing automation and scalability
  • Prepare financial analysis, reports, and presentation materials to support business reviews and planning activities
  • Partner with business and functional leaders to generate key assumptions and drivers for decision-making; collaborate with other finance teams to promote process alignment and standardization
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify business trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to finance and business partners
  • Develop new analytical tools and reporting capabilities that improve forecasting, business visibility, and decision-making

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business-related field plus minimum of 4 years of business and finance experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Intellectual curiosity, versatility, & adaptability
  • Strong desire to formulate and drive operational improvements and challenge the status quo
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, reporting, and scenario analysis. Experience with Power BI, Hyperion, Cognos, or other enterprise planning tools is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively summarize and present information
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Strong understanding of business processes, operations, and financial controls
  • Skilled in effectively communicating information to various levels of management and capable of confidently expressing independent viewpoints

Travel requirements

  • Less than 10% domestic/international travel required

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00-$154,700.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
