Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Fort Worth, TX
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Compensation: $45.00-$52.00 per hour (DOE)

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a healthcare client in the Fort Worth, TX area. This role is responsible for financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, advanced reporting, and translating complex financial and operational data into actionable business insights. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with hospital finance, healthcare analytics, and financial modeling experience seeking a high-impact role with long-term growth potential.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, financial models, and pro formas.
  • Analyze financial performance, KPIs, and budget-to-actual variances.
  • Develop financial, operational, and executive-level reports.
  • Translate complex data into actionable business insights for leadership.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Hospital finance experience supporting an acute care hospital, health system, or physician/provider group is required.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience with financial modeling and pro forma development preferred.
  • CMS reimbursement (Medicare and Medicaid supplemental payments) experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SQL knowledge preferred.
  • MBA and/or CPA preferred.
