Sr. FME Analyst

Roledescription: The role involves inperforming Spatial Data conversion using FME.Design,troubleshoot and automate spatial data transformation workflows.

Key responsibilities include:

FMEproficiencies in converting spatial formats based on process flow requirements

Ability to ingest and transform common data formatsfor tabular and geospatial information.

Working knowledge of software asset control in GitHub.

Ability to execute and troubleshoot SQL queries in aPostGIS database.

Experience with Postgres spatial functions, usingpgAdmin, MySQL, or other sql databases.

Demonstrated ability to perform open-source researchwith a variety of search tools and techniques.

Experience with database manipulation using python(pandas), R, or other language.

Experience working with datasets in JSON file format.

Familiaritywith regex and hive.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Technicalexperience in FME Software, and QGIS will be added advantage.

Strongunderstanding of working on various GIS and Non GIS formats

Analyticalmindset with an innovative approach to solving issues

Required Competencies/Experience:

5 years practical experience in developing FMEworkbench models.

1 year experience in successfully delivering FMEworkflows for Apple Maps.

Experience working onMaps related program for Large Map development companies is a must.

Has experience working on digital map productionenvironment and responsible for Delivery and Quality functions.
