Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the next phase of AI adoption and is seeking a hands-on Sr. Partner Solutions Architect (PSA) focused on Generative AI. In this role, you will work directly with AWS Partners - ISVs, SIs, and consulting firms - to help them build, differentiate, and scale GenAI solutions on AWS that drive measurable customer outcomes and accelerate partner-led revenue growth.

AWS Partner Solutions Architects are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise who operate at the intersection of partner strategy and technical depth. As part of the AWS partner organization, you will engage with partners who are building GenAI practices and products - guiding them on scalable, production-ready architectures while enabling them to independently deliver GenAI solutions to their end customers.

This role focuses on converting partner GenAI ambition into repeatable, scalable offerings that can be built once and delivered to many customers. You must be comfortable going deep on model selection, fine-tuning strategies, RAG architectures, agentic workflows, and MLOps - and equally comfortable enabling partner technical teams, co-architecting joint solutions, and presenting technical strategies to partner leadership and C-level executives.

You will help partners achieve AWS competencies and service validations, develop joint go-to-market motions, and create reusable assets (reference architectures, Proofs of Concept, and delivery accelerators) that multiply partner impact across their customer base. You think in terms of leverage - enabling one partner to serve hundreds of customers - rather than solving one customer problem at a time.

We are looking for someone who doesn"t just talk about GenAI, but has built and shipped GenAI solutions in real-world settings - and can transfer that expertise to partners so they can do the same at scale.

Key job responsibilities

Technical Advisory & Partner Enablement: Build deep technical relationships with AWS Partners (ISVs, SIs, consulting firms) as their trusted GenAI/ML advisor - guiding them in designing cloud-native architectures for LLM-powered applications, agentic systems, and multi-modal AI solutions they can repeatedly deliver to customers.

Hands-on Enablement: Co-build with partner engineering teams through end-to-end GenAI development - model selection, RAG implementation, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and inference optimization - accelerating their time-to-market.

Scalable Offerings: Create reusable reference architectures and delivery accelerators that partners can package into repeatable GenAI offerings across conversational AI, document processing, knowledge assistants, and autonomous agents.

Agentic AI: Enable partners to productize LLM-powered agents using Amazon Bedrock Agents, AgentCore, and custom frameworks.

Partner Engagement: Engage partner leadership and technical teams, drive AWS Competency attainment, and develop lighthouse partners.

Voice of Partner: Advocate for partner ecosystem needs to influence AWS GenAI product roadmap.

Practice Development: Guide partners in scaling GenAI practices - skilling, methodology, and GTM enablement.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Partner Development Managers, Partner Sales Managers, AWS service teams, and the broader SA community to accelerate partner-led GenAI adoption at scale.

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
