Senior Litigation Paralegal | Hybrid | California

LHH is assisting a leading law firm in its search for a Senior Litigation Paralegal to support complex litigation matters in a hybrid work environment. This is a career-track opportunity for an experienced paralegal who can serve as a lead resource on major cases while helping guide junior paralegals and support professionals.

The Role

The Senior Litigation Paralegal will partner closely with attorneys and case teams throughout all phases of litigation, from intake and discovery through trial, arbitration, and hearings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing complex litigation matters, including case files, discovery, calendaring, and trial preparation

• Coordinating trial and arbitration logistics, including workspaces, remote offices, vendors, and outside resources

• Leading discovery and witness-preparation support

• Drafting, reviewing, and analyzing routine legal documents under attorney supervision

• Conducting legal research under attorney supervision

• Establishing and refining systems for organizing and retrieving case documents

• Coordinating junior paralegals and support staff on large litigation matters and investigations

• Liaising between attorneys, support teams, co-counsel, courts, government agencies, expert witnesses, corporations, vendors, and other law firms

• Providing guidance and training on litigation procedures and best practices

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $110,000 to $140,000, depending on experience

• Status: Non-exempt

• Staff members hired for a minimum schedule of 30 hours per week are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare insurance

• Overtime and travel may be required based on business and case needs

Candidate Requirements

• At least five years of litigation paralegal experience with an AmLaw 100 firm or specialized litigation practice

• Experience supporting all phases of litigation, including intake, discovery, trial, arbitration, and hearings

• Experience preparing for and attending trials, arbitrations, or hearings

• Knowledge of court and administrative-agency filings, including electronic filing

• Proficiency with cite-checking and Bluebook rules

• Experience with e-discovery platforms such as Relativity or Nuix Discover

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

• Experience using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and Adobe Acrobat in a legal environment

• Strong organizational, communication, judgment, and client-service skills

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college

• Paralegal certificate preferred

• Availability for overtime and travel as needed
