• Pay Range :- $80.00/hr.- $95.00/hr.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Accounting to lead and scale B2B end-to-end accounting operations. This role is a critical partner to Finance, Operations, and Sales organizations, with ownership across the full spectrum of B2B accounting workstreams, including Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), and Record-to-Report (RTR).

The Senior Manager will drive operational excellence, champion automation and systems transformation, and serve as the primary accounting point of contact for existing and new business initiatives. The role will work closely with Accounts Receivable and Revenue Accounting teams, while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure financial reporting integrity and establish repeatable, scalable B2B processes.

Key Responsibilities

B2B Accounting

• Partner with Accounts Receivable on the OTC lifecycle of B2B revenue streams, including:
  • Contract setup
  • Billing
  • Invoicing
  • Collections
  • Cash application
• Partner with Revenue Accounting to facilitate timely and accurate revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 and relevant accounting standards.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, and FP&A to support new deal structuring and complex commercial arrangements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support SOX compliance and internal control testing.
• Identify RTR requirements for B2B and ensure proper workflows are established or updated.
• Coordinate with GL and Technical Accounting teams to support appropriate month-end close processes.
• Identify PTP requirements for B2B, including:
  • Vendor onboarding
  • Invoice processing
  • Payment runs
• Lead efforts to streamline and automate B2B payment outflows, reducing cycle time and manual touchpoints.
• Support ongoing M&A and operational excellence initiatives, including international expansion for B2B revenue streams.

New Product Initiatives

• Serve as the Accounting lead for new product launches, partnerships, and B2B growth initiatives.
• Partner with Sales, Business Development, Product, and other cross-functional stakeholders to design scalable accounting frameworks for new and client transaction types.
• Work with Finance partners to proactively identify the accounting implications of:
  • New contracts
  • Business models
  • Commercial structures

Automation & Process Excellence

• Define and execute a multi-year roadmap to automate B2B accounting processes using:
  • ERP capabilities
  • RPA
  • AI-driven tools
• Partner with Product and CEIT teams to prioritize and deliver process improvements.
• Establish KPIs and operational dashboards to monitor accounting operations performance and drive accountability.

Required Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of progressive Accounting or Sales Operations experience.
• At least 2 years in a senior management or leadership role.
• Deep expertise across OTC, PTP, and RTR workstreams within a B2B or enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading accounting for new business initiatives and complex commercial arrangements.
• Proven track record of driving automation initiatives and accounting transformation projects.
• Understanding of US GAAP to support Finance initiatives.
• Experience with large-scale systems such as:
  • Oracle
  • Salesforce
  • Microsoft Ads
  • NetSuite
  • SAP
  • Or equivalent systems
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Workato, Celonis, or UiPath is a plus.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and clearly present complex accounting concepts.
• MBA or CPA required.
• Experience in technology, marketplace, or rideshare/mobility industries is a plus.
