  • Program controls and automated vision systems for integrated quality control and process step verification

  • Optimize manufacturing lines to meet uptime, availability and reliability metrics - OEE, cycle time, quality, yield

  • Actively use tool data sources (e.g. MES reports) to quantitatively evaluate and track tool performance and create programs to improve relevant metrics

  • Work independently and with vendors to understand root causes of failures, propose design or component changes, and implement and validate equipment modifications

  • Develop and deliver training to operations and maintenance technicians to ensure and seamless handover of new equipment

  • Generate and maintain documentation including machine and process specifications, drawings, BOM, spare parts, PFMEA, control plan, process flow chart

  • Own individual workstations, tools, or production lines

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience

  • 2-5+ years of work experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment involving automation equipment, robots, electromechanical systems, PLCs, and motion controls

  • PLC programming experience, ideally with Siemens, Beckhoff, or Innovance

  • Robot programming experience, preferably with Fanuc or Kuka

  • High level of proficiency with machine vision systems such as Cognex, Keyence, Omron, OpenCV

  • In-depth knowledge of equipment safety standards (ANSI/RIA 15.06, OSHA compliance) and electrical standards (NFPA 79, NEC, UL 508A)

  • Familiarity with script-based programming (Python, Go, SQL)

  • Proficiency creating detailed electrical schematics in CAD (AutoCAD Electrical preferred), and tooling design with Solidworks or 3D CAD software is a plus

  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally
