The Senior Manufacturing Engineer supports aerospace manufacturing operations by developing manufacturing work instructions, process plans, tooling requirements, and production documentation. The role also supports Solumina MES implementation/data migration, engineering change management, BOM and CAD-related activities, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements.
Experience in aerospace manufacturing or a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Strong experience creating 2D Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWIs) from 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and BOMs.
Experience with 3D CAD models, BOMs, and process planning.
Experience developing and maintaining tooling, fixture, gauge, and equipment requirements.
Hands-on experience with Solumina MES, including implementation, conversion, or data migration.
Experience developing manufacturing routings and process plans.
Knowledge of Teamcenter and/or Windchill PLM systems.
Understanding of AS9100 requirements and aerospace manufacturing standards.
Experience supporting engineering changes and manufacturing documentation updates.
Strong collaboration skills with Engineering, Quality, Production, and IT teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Experience with continuous improvement and process optimization is preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
