Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 2–10 years of experience in materials engineering, preferably within a regulated medical device environment.

• Materials Behavior & Failure Analysis: Strong knowledge of material interactions with the body/environment, correlating material properties with product performance to predict failure modes.

• Characterization Techniques: Hands-on experience with standard materials characterization lab methods.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of domestic and international regulations for Materials of Concern, Biocompatibility, and Hazardous Substances (ISO 10993, EU MDR, RoHS, CA Prop 65).
