Dean's Professional Services is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Sr. Medical Assistant to support a leading healthcare organization in League City, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Medical Assistant who is comfortable providing hands-on clinical support in a primary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for appointments and procedures, including rooming patients and obtaining vital signs.

   

• Accurately enter and manage patient orders.

   

• Perform barcode scanning for procedures and ensure information is properly documented.

   

• Respond to and manage patient messages in a timely and professional manner.

   

• Assist providers with clinical and administrative duties.

   

• Prepare and maintain examination and procedure rooms.

   

• Ensure clinical supplies and equipment are available and properly maintained.

   

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

   

• Follow established clinical, safety, and infection-control procedures.

   

• Provide compassionate and professional patient care.

   

• Perform other Medical Assistant duties as assigned.

   

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

   

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required

   

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required

   

• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required

   

• Previous experience in a primary care clinical setting

   

• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills

   

• Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation skills

   

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

   

• Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach

   

• Ability to work collaboratively with providers and other healthcare professionals
