We are currently hiring experienced Molding Set up Technicians for our Turtle Lake facility! There are 2 open positions available: 1st shift- 6:30 am-3 pm and 3rd shift 10:30 pm- 7 am with a 15% shift differential.
Nature of Duties:
- Install molds, set machine parameters (temperature, pressure, time), and connect auxiliary equipment.
- Monitor runs, make real-time adjustments to maintain quality, and document changes.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with machines, molds, materials, or processes to prevent defects.
- Inspect parts for defects, ensuring they meet internal and external standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance (cleaning, lubricating) and report needed repairs on molds and equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols (OSHA, Lockout/Tagout) and maintain a clean work area (5S).
Education and Experience:
- 2 Year Technical Degree or Enrolled in a technical class or equivalent related experience plus 2 years' experience as a Manufacturing Technician.
- Must have a strong electrical aptitude with the ability to work with vendors and suppliers.
- Strong and appropriate influencing skills and flexible work ethic is important.
