What You"ll Do

Own the operation - Take full accountability for budgetary performance, people development, and operational excellence across your functional area (Inbound or Outbound).

Lead and develop leaders - Manage, coach, and mentor a team of Operations and Area Managers, setting clear expectations and holding them accountable while building the next generation of Amazon leaders.

Drive continuous improvement - Champion Lean initiatives, process innovations, and quality programs that push your team and the FC to exceed business goals.

Deliver a world-class customer experience - Ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are met or exceeded every single day.

Collaborate cross-functionally - Partner with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and peer leaders to secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in your area, as well as providing needed support and resources for other staff initiatives.

Cultivate ideas - Source and nurture innovative ideas from your team, translating them into actionable improvement plans that raise the bar across the functional area.

Share best practices - Take proactive steps to ensure best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and the broader network.

Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds each

Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head

Walking in the FC and around area with great frequency; facilities are over a quarter mile in length

Ability to work in construction/distribution environments that may be noisy, unlit, unheated, not air-conditioned

Able to access all areas of building (ascending and descending ladders, stairs, gangways safely and without limitation)

FTW6 is a massive 1 million-square-foot Amazon Robotics (AR) Sortable Atlas Fulfillment Center located at 2601 W. Bethel Road in Coppell, TX when it opened in February 2018, it was the largest Amazon facility in the world

FTW6 employs approximately 2,500 associates who can sort up to 1 million boxes during a single 10-hour shift, operating 24/7 across multiple day and night shifts the facility is designed to support 1.2 million peak-day picks and 1 million peak-day stows, with 4.1 million cubic feet of storage capacity

FTW6 offers free public fulfillment center tours where visitors can see Amazon Robotics in action, with associates working alongside robots to pick, pack, and ship items smaller than a conventional microwave
