Our client, an innovative leader in sustainable energy and waste management, is seeking a Sr. Plant Manager to join their team. As a Sr. Plant Manager, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the plant operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to safety and efficiency, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: Up to $170,000
What's the Job?
- Lead the commissioning and operational setup of the plant, ensuring a safe and timely launch.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and local authorities to facilitate factory and site acceptance testing.
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and maintenance schedules to optimize plant performance.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing operational team focused on safety, accountability, and excellence.
- Manage daily plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and regulatory compliance are met.
What's Needed?
- 6+ years of experience in process manufacturing or heavy industry, with at least 3 years managing teams and full accountability for a plant or production area.
- Experience commissioning and starting up new plants or major production lines.
- Background in thermal or bulk-solids processing environments such as pyrolysis, gasification, biomass power, or similar.
- Proven track record of safety management and implementing effective EHS programs.
- Strong leadership skills with experience building and maintaining preventive maintenance programs and managing uptime targets.
