Amazon Freight Partner (freightpartner.amazon.com) is a new program that enables entrepreneurs to start and grow their trucking business alongside Amazon, with exclusive training, ability to hire from their local communities, and long-term growth potential.

Our team is looking for a Sr. Program Manager who can build and scale mechanisms to support internal readiness for product, process, and service launches. In this highly cross-functional role, you will lead and influence across business teams to meet your program goals. You will identify and mitigate risks that will negatively impact our partners/drivers, remove roadblocks and provide alternate solutions that provide the best customer experience. You will set objectives, analyze data, execute on your plans, and drive quantifiable continuous improvement.

Key job responsibilities

This role requires building mechanisms for communication and working models across teams, and will require the ability to influence others. Job responsibilities include:

  • Designing and documenting a scalable launch process
  • Driving complex projects focusing on results and metric measurement to launch flawlessly and on time
  • Partnering with initiative owners and using influence to ensure requirements for new launches are met
  • Developing a perfect launch metric, including escalations data, and tracking our performance against it
  • Conducting retrospectives to identify opportunities to further improve our launch process
  • Removing roadblocks, and identifying and mitigating risks
