Sr. Process Engineer

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for a Sr. Process Engineer with heavy industrial or Chemical experience. This is a direct hire opportunity with a Chemical manufacturing company in the Salt Lake City, UT market.

The responsibilities of this role will be to identify inefficiencies within the plant operation to create a prioritized plan to execute increased throughput, reduce costs, and streamline operations. The improvements will be accomplished through improved equipment and manpower utilization, procedural or process changes, changes in process equipment, and more efficient operations management. Strong understanding of equipment troubleshooting process control and process economics. The schedule for this position is Monday- Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.

Requirements:

• B.S. Degree in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Knowledge of Chemical and/or Metallurgical unit operations.
• Good communicative and organizational skills to be able to focus the resources of several departments on projects and problems.
• 5 years of experience in a heavy industrial environment.
• Previous experience with hands-on management of engineering plans.
