JOB TITLE: Sr Production Scheduler

Summary: 

• Creates and maintains the production schedule based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.

• Collaborates with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.

• Monitors production progress and adjusts the schedule as needed to meet customer demands.

• Identifies and resolves production issues or bottlenecks that may impact the schedule.

• Continuously improves the scheduling process to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.

• Plans and establishes production schedules for manufacturing operations.

• Monitors materials inventories and tracks progress of production.

• Reviews factors which affect schedules and adjusts planning accordingly.

• Uses SAP for production scheduling and material tracking.

• Performs scheduling tasks under general supervision with limited experience and judgment.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 4-6 years of experience in production scheduling or a related area.

• Experience creating and maintaining production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.

• Experience collaborating with procurement and logistics teams for material availability.

• Experience monitoring production progress and resolving scheduling bottlenecks.

• SAP experience preferred.

• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within production scheduling.

• Strong communication skills for cross-functional coordination.

• Ability to work under general supervision with a certain degree of creativity and latitude.
