Amazon is looking for an enthusiastic Sr. Program Manager to join the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) organization, supporting Environmental Assurance and Protection (EAP) training. WHS seeks an experienced, self-motivated Program Manager who excels in a fast-paced environment and has a solid background in program management. This role will support the deployment and management of environmental training programs for operations associates and leadership throughout North America.
As a Sr. Program Manager, you will work across teams to collaborate, generate buy-in, develop and execute to a plan. You will drive the expansion and growth of our global environmental training programs. You will play a crucial role in devising strategies, fostering partnerships, and executing initiatives to enhance the program"s reach and impact. This entails serving as the main point of contact for stakeholders in coordinating and managing strategic, cross-functional, and business-critical programs and projects. The ideal candidate excels in crafting large-scale global training program strategies, encompassing training design, roadmaps, gap analysis, financial planning, communication, and launch plans in a dynamic and diverse business environment. Effective communication and program management skills are essential, enabling you to manage multiple competing priorities and coordinate work across teams. The successful candidate will be proficient at working with data to identify trends, identify improvement opportunities, and proactively define plans to realize these opportunities.
To be successful in this role, the candidate will effectively multitask and prioritize, utilize data to encourage decisions, and maintain a high level of independence. They will be comfortable working in a growing and ambiguous work environment as we constantly improve and innovate. As a Sr. Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing environmental training content development and localization. You will drive program implementation, impact, and retention metrics by working closely with BU stakeholders across the globe. You will partner closely with Environmental, WHS, and Operations departments across Amazon to develop and execute pilot and launch plans, drive internal communications, and oversee the continuous improvement of the programs in regions you oversee.
