We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale public and commercial construction projects. This individual will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through closeout, with a strong emphasis on projects exceeding $10M in scope. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on approach to project execution, financial management, and team leadership, while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closeout
Oversee projects with contract values exceeding $10M, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction
Develop and manage detailed project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
Maintain full ownership of project financials including cost control, change orders, and risk management
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
Ensure compliance with all public sector regulations, safety standards, and contractual requirements
Utilize Procore for project management, documentation, scheduling, and communication
Conduct regular project meetings and provide clear updates to stakeholders
Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues to avoid delays or cost overruns
Mentor and support junior project management staff
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
8+ years of experience in construction project management
Proven experience managing public and commercial construction projects
Demonstrated success managing projects with budgets exceeding $10M
Strong proficiency with Procore (required)
Hands-on experience managing project budgets, financial tracking, and forecasting
Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and project delivery methods
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
Experience with municipal, state, or federally funded projects
Knowledge of scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
