Senior Project Manager -Infrastructure

Vector Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager for an opportunity with Quanta Services, a publicly traded infrastructure leader helping build and modernize the critical energy systems that power communities and industry. This is an opportunity to bring proven megaproject leadership to a multi billion dollar infrastructure project. guiding delivery from routing and permitting through engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

The priority is exceptional large-project judgment. We welcome leaders who have delivered complex, $1 billion-plus infrastructure projects such as dams, highways, power plants, or other major capital programs. EHV transmission experience is valuable, but the ability to lead teams, anticipate risk, and deliver at scale matters most.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project execution strategy, master scheduling, budgeting, and governance for a $1 billion+ capital program.

• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to keep work aligned with project milestones.
• Identify and address critical-path risks involving long-lead equipment, supply chains, right-of-way acquisition, permitting, and construction.
• Serve as a senior point of contact for executive leadership, project partners, regulators, utilities, contractors, and landowners.
• Oversee major contracts, contractor performance, commercial negotiations, change orders, and claims resolution.
• Manage cash-flow forecasts, contingency, cost controls, and performance reporting.
• Partner with technical and regulatory specialists to ensure delivery meets applicable project, safety, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of project management experience in heavy civil, energy, utility, or comparable large-scale infrastructure construction.
• Demonstrated leadership on a $1 billion-plus capital project, with accountability for schedule, budget, teams, and delivery.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience with contracts, forecasting, change management, and risk mitigation.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with executives, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or comparable enterprise scheduling tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• EHV transmission, substation, or grid-interconnection experience is a plus—not a requirement. PMP or PgMP certification is also a plus.
