Location: Irvine, California (Onsite)

Role Overview

The Senior Project Manager is accountable for the successful governance and delivery of large-scale, complex, and strategically critical initiatives operating within a hybrid delivery framework. This role provides enterprise-level leadership across cross-functional teams, ensuring disciplined planning, incremental value realization, financial stewardship, and risk mitigation. The Senior Project Manager operates with significant autonomy, influences senior stakeholders, and ensures initiatives align to strategic objectives and measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead large, multi-workstream initiatives spanning business, technology, operations, and third-party vendors.
• Determine and tailor the appropriate hybrid delivery approach based on scope, risk, and organizational readiness.
• Develop and maintain executive-level charters, integrated master schedules, roadmaps, and governance artifacts.
• Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and delivery leads to ensure backlog alignment with strategic intent.
• Own initiative-level budget planning, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Proactively identify enterprise-level risks and systemic dependencies.
• Serve as primary delivery authority for executive sponsors and steering committees.
• Provide direction and oversight to Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional leads.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required. PMP certification is required.

Experience: 8-12+ years of progressive project/program management experience, with demonstrated success leading complex, enterprise-scale initiatives. Experience in the Dental, Medical, Healthcare, or retail industry is required. Proven experience operating within hybrid delivery models and engaging executive-level stakeholders is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Agile certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP) is preferred.

• Ability to multi-task effectively without compromising the quality of the work.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, staff, and other members of the business community.
• Ability to draw valid conclusions and apply sound judgment in making decisions, including under pressure.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships with management and all levels of staff.
