Sr. Project Manager

100% Remote, East or West Coast

We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Project Manager of AI Strategic Initiatives, with an immediate focus on advancing a high-visibility enterprise AI pilot.
This independent operator will translate evolving strategy into coordinated execution across business, technology, security, governance, operations, and external partners creating structure in ambiguity and keeping complex work moving.

Key Responsibilities
" Drive strategic AI programs and pilots from planning and onboarding through deployment, evaluation, and scale-up
" Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across business, technology, cloud and architecture, security, governance, legal, procurement, finance, operations, and external partners
" Maintain integrated plans, milestones, decisions, dependencies, risks, and ownership; identify blockers early and drive them to resolution
" Manage participant onboarding, communications, training, support, feedback, and adoption activities
" Partner with technical and business teams to define use cases, deployment and integration requirements, data needs, and readiness for scale
" Track outcomes, user feedback, costs, business value, and lessons learned to inform investment and deployment recommendations
" Prepare concise executive updates and decision materials, and establish reusable governance and operating processes

Technical Fluency
The candidate need not be an architect or engineer, but must be technically curious and credible with technical teams.
" Working knowledge of cloud, compute, application architecture, identity and access, integrations, and data flows.
" Comfort with AI and agentic concepts, including model access, APIs, connectors, tool use, orchestration, and human oversight.
" Awareness of security, privacy, data-access, governance, and operational considerations for enterprise AI.
" Ability to translate technical decisions into clear business implications, risks, dependencies, and actions and learn unfamiliar concepts quickly.

What We're Looking For
" 5+ years in program management, consulting, operations, transformation, technology delivery, or a related field.
" Proven ability to independently manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with senior stakeholders and interdependent workstreams.
" Exceptional organization, follow-through, judgment, and attention to detail, with a strong bias toward action.
" Strong written and verbal communication skills, including concise synthesis of complex topics for varied audiences.
" Comfort operating amid shifting priorities and incomplete information while moving between strategy and hands-on execution.
" Professional maturity and confidence working with senior leaders, technical experts, business teams, and external partners.

Preferred Experience
" Experience with enterprise technology deployments, AI or digital transformation programs, innovation initiatives, or complex pilots.
" Experience partnering with cloud, architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, privacy, risk, compliance, or governance teams.
" Familiarity with generative AI, agentic AI, enterprise software, or emerging technology; consulting, startup, chief of staff, product operations, or transformation experience is a plus.
