With a strong pipeline and a reputation for excellence, they offer stability, growth, and a people-first approach.

Description

The Key Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:

  • Lead Client & Design Team Relationships: Serve as primary Owner/Architect/Engineer contact; communicate project status, risks, and opportunities; drive collaborative problem-solving and value creation.
  • Direct Preconstruction & Project Setup: Lead constructability reviews, staffing and logistics planning, risk mitigation, subcontractor strategy, mobilization, and establish project controls and management systems.
  • Administer Contracts & Compliance: Interpret and manage Prime Contracts; ensure subcontract flow-downs; educate teams on obligations and risks; enforce compliance throughout execution.
  • Control Schedule & Delivery: Develop master schedules and recovery plans; guide look-ahead planning; mitigate delays; manage notifications strategically to protect company interests.
  • Manage Project Financial Performance: Oversee SOVs, buyout and purchasing, cash flow, change management, claims, and cost reporting to drive profitability.
  • Oversee Documentation & Reporting: Direct project controls, submittals, RFIs, and monthly reporting; mentor Assistant Project Managers and ensure disciplined execution.
  • Support Field Operations & Quality: Partner with Superintendents to resolve technical issues; support QA/QC, commissioning, and constructability in the field.
  • Lead Closeout & Warranty Administration: Deliver final turnover, financial reconciliation, and lien-free closeout; manage warranty obligations through completion.
  • Partner with VDC Teams: Provide input on BIM, sequencing, design validation, and cost/schedule optimization.
  • Support Business Development: Participate in client pursuits, interviews, and industry engagement as needed.

Profile

What You Need to Succeed

  • 10+ years of experience in construction management
  • Proven track record managing ground-up projects $50M-$100M+ (multifamily is a must)
  • Strong technical and interpersonal skills; ability to lead complex teams
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Excel
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities
