Role Overview

We’re seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead complex Web/Mobile application development and front/back‑end processing projects in a fast‑paced enterprise environment. This role requires strong delivery leadership, cross‑functional coordination, and the ability to manage multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders while driving projects through the full lifecycle.

This position is onsite in Brooklyn, OH and may convert to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead one or more application development projects (Web, Mobile, Front‑End, Back‑End).

  • Direct internal teams, virtual teams, and third‑party vendors.

  • Ensure all team members follow the Standard Project Lifecycle Framework.

  • Define and manage scope, requirements, deliverables, and value proposition.

Planning & Execution

  • Build integrated project plans, manage dependencies, and track milestones.

  • Identify resource needs, manage utilization, and oversee vendor onboarding/offboarding.

  • Forecast and track budgets, manage variances, and recommend adjustments.

  • Conduct project assessments, configuration management, version control, and deliverable sign‑offs.

Risk, Issue & Change Management

  • Identify, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, and conflicts.

  • Perform impact analysis and prioritization.

  • Support change management planning, communication, and training.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong partnerships with senior functional leaders.

  • Lead communication planning, status reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Support business case development, project registration, prioritization, and funding plans.

Transition & Knowledge Transfer

  • Manage documentation, operational handoff, and “business‑as‑usual” transition.

  • Conduct lessons‑learned reviews and continuous improvement activities.

  • Oversee vendor contract execution and compliance.

Required Qualifications

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

  • PMI certification required.

  • Financial services industry experience strongly preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive project management experience.

  • Experience delivering Web/Mobile applications and backend systems.

  • Strong background in both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Technical Competencies

  • Familiar with Jira, Scrum, Agile, Waterfall.

  • Understanding of application development, cloud, network, and security infrastructure.
