Overview:
The Senior Reliability Engineer initiates and executes reliability centered maintenance activities to improve plant operations, increase capacity, and decrease unplanned equipment downtime.
Responsibilities What You'll Do:
- Coaches and develops Plant Maintenance and Operations team in Break Down Elimination Methodology.
- Leads the development of Predictive Technology Communities of Practice across the enterprise.
- Reviews and recommends changes to plant equipment selection with a focus on improved equipment reliability.
- Leads the monthly plant reliability review and quarterly Reliability Steering Committee (RSC) Workshop.
- Leads the development of the enterprise Equipment Baseline Restoration (EBR) Program.
- Leads the development of the enterprise Equipment Asset Care Plan (EACP) Program
- Partners with SAP PM COE to improve SAP useability and improved support for reliability initiatives.
- Coordinates internally with cross-functional teams, operations/maintenance personnel, and externally with suppliers and consultants.
- Understanding of food manufacturing plant equipment operation and system interrelationships.
- Reliability: Uses knowledge and skills to guide and train others to identify, assess, prioritize, and manage equipment reliability challenges.
- Compliance: Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to act independently while guiding and training others to achieve full compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
Qualifications What You'll Bring:
- BS degree in engineering or a technical field is required, preferably in industrial, chemical or mechanical engineering; Masters degree is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 10 years of prior experience in manufacturing plant equipment operation
- Demonstrates strong people leadership, capable of leading high performing teams.
- Experience using Microsoft Office software is required.
- CPG, nutritional, or food processing experience is preferred.
- Experience in coaching and developing plant operations/maintenance staffs.
- Understanding of automation systems and controls integration is preferred.

Working Conditions/Environment:
Works in a normal office environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, see, hear, sit, stand, talk, type, walk and bend while moving about the facility. Frequent (50%) travel to plant locations in the U.S., as well as vendor locations globally. The noise level in the office is quiet.
