Overview
The Sr. Sales Engineer (SSE) is responsible for the technical engagement, design and documentation of TNS solutions for strategic opportunities for the Client Account Team in the Communications Group.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities Will Include:
Partner with Sales/Product to execute strategies for proposing, pricing, and closing opportunities in Comms Market.
Facilitating client product requirements to combine with TNS requirements for final solution development. Partner with Product, Development and Architecture at TNS to drive solutions from ideation to deployment.
Work with Product on all internal and external documentation.
Create technical designs/solutions to meet customer needs. Facilitate customer document storage and maintain revision integrity.
Maintain and drive roadmaps across all product lines.
Present quarterly updates at QBRs.
Partner with Product and Architecture to create a collaborative feedback loop of technical designs and customer needs from client engagement.
Partner with Operations to provide solution handoff ensuring understanding of the key customer requirements and overall communication of the design to ensure successful/timely implementation.
Stay well versed in new and emerging technologies to develop new ways to solve client challenges.
Work with sales personnel to effectively identify opportunities for customized solutions and introduce the Sr. Sales Engineer in specific sales campaigns.
Participate on an as needed basis on meetings with strategic account and field sales teams to strategize on the optimal strategy to sell new services within our top accounts.
Ensure that solutions are being successfully implemented within the account as designed, and assist with any modifications that may be needed to ensure success.
Work with Account Team and Product partners to create business cases that demonstrate value to the client feasibility of the services solution, including timelines.
Qualifications
Experienced Performer:
5+ years of sales engineering or product development and design experience within the telco ecosystem.
Problem Solver. Proven ability to conceptualize customized solutions and sell these solutions to clients.
Technical Expert. Experience with software and network engineering related solutions and/or information/intellectual property.
Project Manager. Strong capacity to communicate with executives and drive alignment on common objectives.
For this role, we anticipate paying $165,000k - $200,000K. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
