Your Opportunity:
We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Senior Email & Digital Marketing Specialist to own the execution and performance of our email, SMS, lifecycle marketing, and digital marketing operations. In this role, you will lead the email and SMS marketing, manage key digital platforms, oversee audience segmentation and data hygiene, and partner with internal and external teams to optimize digital performance.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
Lifecycle Marketing & Automation
- Master Calendar & Scheduling: In partnership with the channel marketing team, establish and maintain the master email calendar, lifecycle campaigns, promotional schedules, and audience segmentation rules.
- Lifecycle Journey and Conversion Rate Design: Develop, execute, and continuously optimize automated customer flows, including Cart Abandonment, Post-Purchase Nurturing, and Win-Back campaigns.
- Cross-Channel Integration: Orchestrate seamless messaging across Email and SMS (via Twilio) to maximize conversion rates, deliver timely transactional updates, and engage customers throughout their lifecycle.
- Email Production & Deployment: Build, test, and deploy responsive email campaigns, automated flows, and SMS messages.
- List & Data Management: Manage list ingestion, data quality, audience segmentation, suppression practices, and database hygiene in accordance with applicable data privacy and marketing requirements.
- Deliverability: Monitor and optimize sender reputation, domain health, and deliverability monitoring utilizing tools like Validity/Everest.
- Template Governance: Build and maintain email design templates, brand standards, and dynamic personalization features across systems.
- Data Privacy Compliance: Ensure strict compliance across all list management and customer outreach with data privacy regulations (CAN-SPAM, CASL, TCPA, GDPR, CCPA)
Digital Platform & Channel Oversight
- Platform Administration: Serve as the primary daily administrator across digital marketing tools, including email platforms (Acquia/Klaviyo), SMS (Twilio), social management (Sprout Social), link management (Bitly), and deliverability tools (Validity/Everest).
- Tech Stack Optimization: Participate in tech stack upgrades, platform migrations and tool integrations.
- Field & Sales Partner Enablement: Train, guide, and communicate digital marketing guidelines, and updates to Independent Sales Partners and internal teams.
Analytics, Reporting & Agency Management
- Best Practices & Tracking: Enforce digital marketing best practices across all campaigns, including standard UTM parameter structures, link tracking, and A/B testing.
- Performance Reporting: Lead monthly digital marketing review meetings and analyze key performance metrics across email, SMS, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and web analytics for all business lines.
- Data & BI Dashboards: Utilize Google Analytics, Power BI, and native platform reporting to deliver actionable insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Agency Collaboration: Partner with third-party digital agencies to coordinate, schedule, and review paid digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Google Shopping, Meta Ads, etc.).
Success Indicators:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or digital marketing operations.
- Proven expertise with modern eCommerce email platforms (Klaviyo preferred) as well as enterprise email platforms (e.g., Acquia).
- Hands-on experience managing digital platforms including Twilio (SMS), Sprout Social, Bitly, and Validity/Everest.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze digital marketing performance using Google Analytics, Power BI and/or comparable reporting/visualization tools.
- Experience working with external media/digital marketing agencies for paid advertising oversight.
- Strong knowledge of list management, data scrubbing, customer data hygiene, and email deliverability protocols.
- Experience communicating, training, or enabling independent sales teams, field representatives, or regional partners.
- Self-motivated and resourceful: able to work functionally, execute daily deliverables, and drive new projects forward independently.
Education / Certifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
Physical Requirements:
- Daily activity includes but is not limited to lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.
- Working at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs.
