You will be the Sustainment Engineer Sr for the Sustainment Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for delivering comprehensive sustainment program support, integrating logistics, and managing the product lifecycle.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Sustainment Engineer Sr you will be responsible for leading sustainment program support, ensuring system supportability, and providing technical logistics expertise throughout the product lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate maintenance and repair requirements with the Air Dominance Sustainment/Warranty manager.
• Conduct modeling and analysis to minimize Operating & Support costs and ensure affordability.
• Develop and update technical manuals, spares, and repair parts for field and depot level support.
• Provide logistics input to engineering change proposals, configuration control, and design reviews.
• Manage maintenance data, inventory, and repair logs within the Asset Management System.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications

• Active U.S. Department of Defense SECRET security clearance.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Field Service, Depot Operations, Contractor Logistics Support, Depot Maintenance Engineering, or a similar sustainment environment.
• Previous experience supporting an Air-to-Air missile system or comparable military system.
• Working knowledge of Government Property control policies and procedures.
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds and work with hazardous materials.
• Technical engineering degree in a related field, or equivalent relevant military training and experience.

Desired Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop clear technical documentation and presentations and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, schematics, interface specifications, system-level requirements, industry standards, and military specifications.
• Experience applying troubleshooting, fault detection, and fault isolation techniques to complex electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of electro-mechanical assemblies, cable and harness assemblies, and circuit card assemblies (CCA).
• Current or previous Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) certification.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
