    Senior Corporate Tax Analyst

    The Opportunity

    Join our Corporate Tax team supporting federal and state income tax compliance, ASC 740 tax provisions, and strategic tax initiatives for a global organization. This role offers broad exposure to corporate income tax, indirect tax, tax planning, and process improvement while partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, and external tax advisors.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming from public accounting or corporate tax who is looking to broaden their experience and make an impact on a collaborative team.

    What Youll Do

    • Prepare and review U.S. federal and state income tax returns in collaboration with external tax providers.
    • Assist with the quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provision and related financial statement disclosures.
    • Prepare tax account reconciliations and journal entries supporting GAAP reporting.
    • Support quarterly estimated tax payments, extensions, and tax notice resolution.
    • Assist with federal, state, and indirect tax audits.
    • Prepare and file non-income tax returns, including gross receipts and commercial activity taxes.
    • Conduct tax research and provide recommendations on technical tax issues.
    • Monitor tax law and regulatory changes and communicate impacts to the business.
    • Identify opportunities to improve tax processes through automation and standardization.
    • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and business leaders to gather information and support strategic tax initiatives.

    What Were Looking For

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of corporate income tax experience, preferably with a public accounting firm or corporate tax department.
    • Experience with federal and state income tax compliance.
    • Experience with ASC 740 tax provisions or income tax reporting.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with OneSource or other tax software is a plus.

    Preferred Backgrounds

    We welcome candidates with experience from public accounting firms such as Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG, BDO, RSM, Grant Thornton, Baker Tilly, CLA, Plante Moran, or professionals currently working in a corporate tax department.

    Location

    Hybrid schedule (3 days in office)

    Chicago, IL (or surrounding area) / Relocation considered

    Compensation & Benefits

    Salary: $90,000-$105,000 plus annual bonus opportunity.
