Sr. Workday Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Developer with extensive expertise in Workday Integrations, Payroll Integrations, and Workday Cloud Connect. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting complex Workday integrations while collaborating with HR, Payroll, Finance, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain complex Workday integrations using Integration Studio, EIB, CCW, PECI, PICOF, and Cloud Connect.
• Build and support inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and third-party systems including Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and HR applications.
• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP-based web service integrations.
• Create and enhance Workday custom reports including Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Trending Reports.
• Perform XML and XSLT transformations for integration development and document generation.
• Develop and maintain Workday Document Transformation solutions.
• Utilize OT2 (Object Transporter 2.0) for migration and deployment activities across Workday tenants.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, data issues, and production support incidents.
• Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and UAT support.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend Workday solutions.
• Support Workday release testing and analyze impacts of biannual Workday updates.
• Contribute to HR data and analytics initiatives by providing scalable reporting and integration solutions.
• Create technical documentation, knowledge articles, and delivery collateral.

Required Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Workday Integration development.
• Strong expertise in Workday Payroll integrations and Cloud Connect solutions.
• Experience with EIB, CCW, PECI, PICOF, Integration Studio, and Web Services.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT 2.0/3.0.
• Experience developing Workday custom reports and calculated fields.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday Integration Certification.
• Experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and Time Tracking modules.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of HR and Payroll business processes.
• Experience supporting global Workday implementations.
