Come join a winning team!Staff AccountantPosition SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career accounting professionals to gain hands‑on experience in real estate and property management accounting.The Staff Accountant will assist with day‑to‑day accounting functions, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and property‑level financial activities. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and eager to learn within a fast‑paced real estate environment.Job duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries.Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and balance sheet accounts.Review and process accounts payable invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments.Maintain vendor compliance regarding insurance requirements and hold harmless agreements.Assist with accounts receivable and intercompany billing.Monitor tenant security deposit accounting and escrow balances.Support preparation of monthly property financial statements and owner reports.Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and account variances.Assist with Reserve for Replacement Escrow disbursement requests.Year end 1099 processing.Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.QualificationsAssociates or Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.BenefitsJob Type: Full‑timeMonday‑Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PMAnnual Salary: $55,000, depending upon experienceBonus Incentive Opportunities AvailableHealth, Dental & Vision Insurance401K Match and other benefits offeredVacation, Sick, Personal, Floating Holiday and Birthday PTO#J-18808-Ljbffr
