This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records, supporting close activities, and providing financial insights used in operational and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high transaction volume.ResponsibilitiesSupport month-end and periodic close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliationsTrack and maintain fixed assets and capitalization schedulesAnalyze financial variances and investigate discrepancies to identify root causesAssist with preparation of internal and external financial reports in accordance with accounting standardsDevelop financial analyses, models, and reporting tools to support management decisionsGain working knowledge of inventory valuation methods and end-to-end inventory movementIdentify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements related to costing and reportingCompile, review, and validate financial data for accuracy and completenessContribute to budgeting and forecasting activities by comparing actual results to planned figuresProvide general accounting support as needed across the departmentRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of relevant accounting experience in lieu of a degreeMinimum of three years of hands-on accounting experienceBackground in high-volume, consumer-facing industries preferredSolid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standardsExperience working with modern accounting systems and strong proficiency in Excel#J-18808-Ljbffr
