Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements for assigned properties
  • Record journal entries and support general ledger activity
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations
  • Review financial results and investigate variances
  • Support audits and respond to financial inquiries
  • Assist with general accounting and ad-hoc projects

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• 
  
• 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Background in property or real estate accounting
  • Experience with accounting or property management systems
  • Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Strong Excel skills
