What You'll Do:

As a Staff Accountant, you will play an important role in supporting the company's day-to-day accounting operations and maintaining accurate financial records. This position offers exposure to a broad range of accounting functions and is ideal for someone looking to build their career in accounting.

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
• 
  
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations
• 
  
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• 
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• 
  
• Review transactions and investigate discrepancies or unusual variances
• 
  
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions as needed
• 
  
• Support the preparation of financial statements, schedules, and management reports
• 
  
• Assist with budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis
• 
  
• Prepare documentation and provide support during internal and external audits
• 
  
• Ensure accounting activities are completed in accordance with company policies and GAAP
• 
  
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting questions and issues
• 
  
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting accuracy
• 
  

Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 
  
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; internships and entry-level experience will be considered
•
